Our visual arts curriculum for primary school graders is a five-year programme.
This is where art is taught through various exploratory and play-way methods.
Using thematics, students are introduced to art movements, styles and art practices from around the world.
Through storytelling, dialogue and various playful activities, they are encouraged to observe, examine, and reflect on their ideas and motivation. By the end of the program, their visual literacy, creative expression, and artistic styles are immensely strengthened. AEP focuses equally on enhancing collective working with the peers as well as engaging closely with the society and cultures.
Mentor Model
The themes woven through each workbook are ones children genuinely connect with:
The Natural World & Environment
Self, Society & the Wider World
Learning through Sensorial Observation
Toys, Games & Technology
Story Time & Poetry
The curriculum challenges the rudimentary, restrictive views of art as merely technical skill or the domain of "genius."It aims to develop creativity in all children, regardless of their future field, and reframe art as a universal mode of expression. It promotes self-guided learning, imagination, and critical thinking.

Exploration through Local Knowledge: The workbooks provide an equal scope for observing and learning from the world around the young learners by understanding local ecosystems and using local material easily available to them.
Interactive art forms: They are also designed in such a way that various activities provide scope for converting the pages into dynamic pop-ups, origami, accordion formats, perforated shapes which can come out from the book and paper-folding to create various forms and shapes.
Aesthetic Awareness: Students learn the significant role that art plays in our lives and in society. Through works of art, the students learn how artists communicate using the elements of art, principles of design, skills and techniques, and forms and media.
