This is a three-year foundation course in fine arts with an introduction to Indian modern art. In the first year, we cover the changing historical and political events of the 19th century, and their impact on Indian visual art at the dawn of the 20th century. In the next two years, the curriculum focuses on the discipline of art, techniques and skills, art appreciation and criticism.
Our training programme guides educators to integrate these artistic expressions and perspectives into their teaching of other subjects as well.
Our art services include setting up art libraries, art labs, and assisting with teacher placements.
